At Harmony House Assisted Living, we aim to make the financial side of care as simple and transparent as possible. While every family’s situation is unique, the information below outlines the most common ways residents pay for assisted living services in Alaska.

Private Pay

Harmony House is primarily a private-pay assisted living home, meaning residents or their families pay for care and room/board directly.
We provide clear monthly invoices and are happy to explain any charges or answer financial questions at any time.

Long-Term Care Insurance

We accept residents who carry long-term care insurance policies.
If your policy includes assisted living coverage, we can help:

• Provide documentation required by the insurance company

• Complete care-plan forms or monthly service summaries

• Work directly with you to submit needed paperwork

Families remain responsible for paying Harmony House directly while the insurance company reimburses them, unless your policy allows for direct pay.

Medicaid / ALI Waiver

At this time, Harmony House is not accepting Medicaid or ALI Waiver funding.
We are a private-pay home focused on delivering high-quality, personalized care in a family-style setting.
